There are many references to flying machines within biblical writings. In fact, many ancient writings all over the world make references to flying machines. The ancient Chinese called them fire boats, the ancient Greeks called them "Chariot's of fire" or "Horse's of fire".   Some ancient writings describe spacecraft as stars.

What has to be remembered is that the knowledge/vocabulary of ancient times was significantly different then today's.   People described things they were witnessing in their own way with their own vocabulary of their own time.

Biblical references to flying machines start with the book of Genesis.   Classic encounters can be found within the book of Genesis, Exodus, II Kings, Ezekiel and throughout the new testament. The Apocrypha gives even more accounts of flying craft.

        The Star of Bethlehem had flight characteristics unlike a star. In fact, it flew across the sky and stopped in mid flight(MATTHEW 3:9). The Apocrypha shines more light on the subject.

        An Apocryphal book quotes one of the wise men: PROTOVANGELION 15:7; "We saw an extraordinarily large star shining among the stars of heaven, and so outshined all the other stars, that they became not visible. . . "  . PROTOVANGELION 15:9;"So the wise men began their travel, and look, the star which they saw in the east went before them, until it came and stood over the cave where the young child was with Mary his mother."

        INFANCY 3:3,"...the light of which they followed until they returned into their own country"   Stars just do not behave in this manor.

        The Bible in Genesis says that God has a physical body.(Genesis 6 : 3: And the Lord said, My Spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.)  Of course it is the angels of God that are being referred to here.

        Within the book of EXODUS we see another UFO experience. Exodus 13:21,"And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire., to give them light; to go by day and by night.   The below picture only reinforces the UFO theory.

        In the book of Genesis, it says specifically that the Lord has a physical body and is mortal(Genesis 6:3). Therefore, in order for God(Angels) to fly, they would need a spacecraft.  Because a physical body cannot float in a gaseous cloud or fire.

        The Book of Mormon is referred to in the bible by Christ Himself in St John 10:15-16.

St. John 10:15-16:   As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I
                                 lay down my life for the sheep.  16: And other sheep I
                                 have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring,
                                 and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold,
                                 and one shepherd.

        The Book of Mormon ties the history of the Old Testiment in with ancient North America.   Mormon tells us that people from Palestine were transported to the Americas under the guidance of "God" in 600B.C.

        "God" was sending them to the new world because of the Tower of Babel incident.   Remember I told you the Brotherhood uses several "divide and conquer" tactics to keep us disunited?   The Tower of Babel story is just one among many examples of how they accomplished it.   They(the Nephilim) split humanity up and taught different languages to us all.

        The book of Mormon tells us that Christ made an appearance in the Americas after His crucifixion on the other side of the planet.

        The dates extrapolated from the Book of Mormon for the arrival of the Palestinians to America coincide with the dates that historians have assigned to the emergence of ancient civilizations of Mexico and Central America.

        Some ancient and biblical writings describe flying craft as pillars of fire or a pillar of cloud.  We see that even in modern times descriptions of spacecraft are similar to ancient descriptions.   Namely the above song.  The biblical equivalent is in the II book of Kings 2:11:"And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them bothasunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven."

        In this Medieval tapestry(below) depicting the life of the Virgin Mary, a saucer-shaped craft can be seen overhead.

        UFOs can clearly be seen in many of the renderings of Mary created in the Middle Ages.  These are not angelic representations, but dome-shaped craft hovering in the sky.

        Notice the position of the "god" in his ship, he appears to be sitting in a cockpit surrounded by instruments.  Note also the different beings performing duties throughout the ship.  The ship appears to have complex machinery, which would be difficult for an ancient artist to depict.

        The image above represents a travel between Earth and Mars.  Earth is represented by the 7 circles to the left of the of the seal.  Mars by the 6 pointed star to the right. With the Celestial Disc in between.   And two gods communicating with each other.  It is of Sumerian origin.

        2500 BC at the very least, from the library of Ashurbanipal, a H. Schmoekel translation of Mesopotamian texts:

        The text narrates how King Etan, who lived about 5,000 years ago, called the "Good king", was taken as a guest on a flyingship.  The ship was in the form of a 'flying shield', which landed in a square behind the royal palace, rotating and surrounded by a vortex of flames.  From the ship came tall, blond men with dark complexions, dressed in white, handsome as gods, they invited King Etana into  the ship for a trip. In the middle od a whirlwind of fire and smoke he went so high that the Earth to him looked like 'a loaf in a basket', then the Earth disappeared from sight.  King Etan in the flying ship reached the Moon, Mars, and Venus.  After 2 weeks of abscence, a successor to the throne was being prepared.  Then, the flying ship glided over the city and touched down in a ring of fire. The fire abated and King Etan appeared with some of the blond men, who remained as guests for a few days after.

        The chariot had all necessary equipment. It could not be conquered by gods or demons, and it radiated light and reverberated with a deep rumbling sound. It's beauty captivated the minds of all who beheld it. Visvakarma, the lord of design and construction, had created it by the power of his austerities, and it's form:  The Story of Vimanas.

        In the Vedic literature of India, there are many descriptions of flying machines that are generally called vimanas. These fall into two cate- gories: (l) manmade craft that resemble airplanes and fly with the aid of birdlike wings, and (2) unstreamlined structures that fly in a mysterious manner and are generally not made by human beings. The machines in category (l) are described mainly in medieval, secular Sanskrit works dealing with architecture, automata, military siege engines, and other mechanical contrivances. Those in category (2) are described in ancient works such as the Rg Veda, the Maha-bha-rata, the Rama-yana, and the Pura-nas, and they have many features reminis- cent of UFOs. In addition, there is one book entitled Vaima-nika-sa-stra that was dictated in trance during this century and purports to be a transcription of an ancient work preserved in the akashic record. This book gives an elaborate description of vimanas of both categories.

        Ancient Indian Sanskrit texts describe gods who fought in the sky on flying machines equiped with deadly weapons.

        AD 650 approx. as told by Hariswami, translated from Hindu by J. Platts: One night in the hot season, they (Hariswami and his new wife) were laying on the roof of the summer house. The veil on the womans face slipped off in the night while a demi-god was seated in his car over head. His gaze suddenly fell upon her.  The demi-god lowered the car and placed her asleep within. She was never seen again.

        A rubbing taken from the stone lid of a tomb in Palenque, it is Mayan, Central Mexico. More on this in Graham Hancock's Fingerprints of the Gods, which is where I got the picture, although I think this has been published in Von Danaken's book and his film of the same name, Chariots of the Gods. Hancock says of the image on the lid: "

        A clean shaven man dressed in what looked like a tight fitting body suit.... The man lay semi-reclined in a bucket seat ...[his head against a head rest] ...His hands seemed to be in motion, as though they were operating levers and controls..

        Above is an Ancient Australian rock painting of "Vondjina", the mouthless god of creation... All over the world, ancient drawings of beings with large, round heads have been discovered often with lines radiating from them. Were these helmets of some type?  Did the lines represent a glow, or radiation of light?  Or does this light reprisent their ability to communicate with the spiritual world?
